Shotford Bowling Club is a major lawn and indoor bowls club in South Norfolk, serving the town of Harleston and surrounding villages. Our catchment area extends far beyond the town and local villages. We have members from as far away as Brooke and Long Stratton in Norfolk and Framlingham in Suffolk.

There are six outdoor rinks and four indoor rinks plus a bar and lounge area, a function room with full kitchen facilities, and plenty of off-street parking.

The indoor season runs from September to April with internal leagues for men’s, ladies’ and mixed teams, and informal afternoon “roll up” sessions with a cup of tea, to which all members are welcome.

In April, the game moves outdoors onto grass rinks until the days shorten to September, but the informal indoor afternoon sessions carry on for those members not wishing to play outdoors.

The Full Members annual subscription covers both indoor and outdoor seasons at Shotford, and those members who can’t or do not wish to actively play may join as Social Members.
